Prague Airport
Project Description
The capacity development of Prague Airport, the main international gateway to the Czech Republic, intends to strengthen the airport's position within the international air traffic networks. It aims to propel economic growth by improving the international connectivity of the city and the region. This long-term programme includes the increase of the airport capacity, including the construction of an extension to the existing passenger terminal and the construction of a new runway.
planeground won the first prize in the tender project Design Study for the construction of the extension to the existing passenger terminal. The focus is on terminal layout arrangements, dedicated terminal functions and a design that complements the existing terminal facilities and related airport infrastructure.
